About The Event
On Friday the 6th July, Unite Against Cancer will host our inaugural Golf Day at Mar Hall Golf & Spa Resort.
Golfers are asked to arrive from 8.30am when teas/coffees and bacon rolls will be served. Team registration will take place and one of the course pros will explain the format and event details. Teams will then be asked to make their way to their allocated hole and the event will commence at 10.00am with a shotgun start. A complimentary bar will be provided on course by Badaboom Bars.
The format of the event is teams of 4 Texas scramble with stableford points being recorded to decide the victors.
There will be a longest drive competition, nearest the hole on the 9th, and the opportunity to win a £50,000 Mercecdes-Benz for a hole in one on the 17th hole thanks to our friends at Mercedes-Benz Glasgow, as well as the overall winning team prizes.
After everyone has completed their rounds, there will be time to change and then a 3 course dinner will be served. Dinner will be followed by a raffle and an auction after which the event will end.
The cost for a team of 4 is £360 (£90 per head). This includes, teas/coffees and bacon rolls before you tee off, a complimentary bar on course provided by Badaboom Bars, and a three course meal after the golf is finished and a goodie bag for each participant.
